Distance learning can be twice as complicated for students in terms of keeping their motivation levels high. The experts suggest that a key element to motivate students and teenagers is learning through challenge and the element of novelty.

Charlotte N.C. (Oct. 26, 2017) — Teachers often have a positive impact on students that goes beyond academics. Social-emotional learning (SEL) company Aperture Education wants to hear these stories. For its Essay Scholarship Contest, Aperture Education is asking high school seniors and college students to submit essays that “Describe a high school teacher who made an impact on you in a non-academic way.”

Tuesday, October 24, 2017 — KENNEWICK, Wash. - October 24, 2017 - ORIGO Education and Kennewick School District have partnered to bring a new way of teaching mathematics to classrooms in the 2017/18 school year. After a year-long evaluation process of many math curricula, including the ORIGO Stepping Stones 2.0: Comprehensive Mathematics program, Kennewick School District has adopted the program for implementation in the district’s 15 elementary schools.
