St. John’s, NL, April 11, 2018 /CNW/ - Zorbit’s Math Adventure is excited to announce a series of improvements that enable teachers to better assess student performance, identify learning gaps, and act to improve outcomes. Building on feedback received from users, some of the improvements to the resource include changes to gameplay, additional content, and strengthened teacher controls.

“These new features will significantly improve our mission of making it easier for K-3 teachers to develop lifelong learners of math”, said Conrad Nickels, Director of Education at Zorbit’s Math Adventure. “We hear from teachers across North America that curriculum aligned resources built specifically for K-3 math learners can be hard to find. This is why Zorbit’s Math Adventure is consistently listens and responds to the needs of our early learners,” he added.

Some of the benefits educators will find in this release include:
  • Align Zorbit to Curriculum: Using Teacher Controls, assign or restrict curriculum strands for the whole class or individual students. This means Zorbit can be aligned to curriculums, not the other way around.
  • Learn Geometry in Grades 2 & 3: Introduce students to the Astral Art Gallery, where they can compose works of art with hexagons, trapezoids, and more.
  • Develop Mastery of Concepts: Let students better understand their own mastery of a concept through automatic star ratings.

Additionally, Zorbit’s Math Adventure has reduced loading times, improved user friendliness and improved navigability for students.
