Most people don’t have the luxury of learning complicated design tools nor the time and patience and most of us have never really sat down and tried to visualize our lives or our careers.  That is why Visme is launching the “Visualize Me” contest to give everyone including non designers a great platform to express and discover themselves by visualizing their career or life story into an infographic.

The contest is neatly explained via this video in 60 seconds:

From September 20 through October 5, 2016, contestants from all over the world will visualize their stories using Visme’s icons, as well as hundreds of professionally designed templates (including 60 new infographic resumes), millions of images and hundreds of fonts.  You can pre-register here.

Visme is giving away number of great prizes:

During the course of the contest, all participants will receive complementary full access to Visme premium and access all features including the ability to insert video, and record or upload audio to their designs.

The top 30 most-voted submissions via Facebook, Pinterest and LinkedIn will enter the final round in which a panel of five judges will choose the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners.

The most original visual story or resume will receive a cash prize of $2,000, one year of Visme Premium Complete ($192 value) along with a 1-year membership to Iconfinder’s Unlimited Plan ($290 value), and also get featured on Visme’s Visual Learning Center.

The second-place winner will be awarded a new GoPro Hero4, as well as a membership to Visme Premium and a 1-year membership to Iconfinder Starter Plan. The third-place winner and the most-voted project will also win the latter two membership prizes.

Last but not least all contestants in one way or another will be winners given the unique opportunity to tap into your inner creativity and even reevaluate your life and career goals.  You can also use the visuals for personal or professional use;  share them online, embed to your website or downloaded for offline use.

You don’t have to be a designer:

In order to encourage non-designers to participate, 20% of the total points awarded to each project by the judges will be based on the quality of the design, while 40% will be based on the quality of the content and another 40% on the overall originality of the visual.

The Visualize Me contest is also sponsored by iconfinder will sponsor Visme’s “Visualize Me” contest, which challenges participants to create unique visual representations of their resumes or life stories.
