(Helsinki, Finland) Jan. 7, 2020 --TypingMaster Inc., a leading provider of engaging keyboarding courses, has updated its gamified keyboarding instruction solution TypeTastic to better serve large districts and even entire cities or states. TypeTastic offers a keyboarding curriculum for students in grades K–12 in an engaging, game-based environment.

Beginning with introductory games, TypeTastic walks students through motor-skills training, touch typing, numbers and symbols, and typing fluency, with timed tests throughout to monitor student progress.

“For years, classroom teachers have been harnessing the power of TypeTastic to help students play their way to mastery of keyboarding, a foundational 21st-century skill,” said Petteri Väliaho, the co-founder of TypingMaster. “We’re excited to release the newest version with powerful administration tools to help leaders of large education organizations unleash the power of typing throughout their districts.”

The new update adds an administrator dashboard that empowers education leaders to manage several schools from one spot. TypeTastic is also now integrated with Clever for single sign-on (SSO) and simplified rostering. For districts that haven’t implemented Clever, the upgrade offers CSV importing to mass upload students.

Early users are loving the new TypeTastic. According to one educator who responded to a company survey, “From my personal school experience and the manner in which I learned keyboarding, TypeTastic is innovative and exciting for the students, and the students are able to see their progress.”
Throughout the spring, TypingMaster will add additional reports, along with Google SSO and ClassLink integrations that will make TypeTastic compatible with all major SSO providers.
