Tiggly Digits + Symbols Math Platform designed specifically for schools is now available for pre-order from April 17th to June 16th. This is the first math platform that brings traditional hands-on math manipulatives into students’ digital learning and is fully aligned with Common Core, TEKS, and Florida Math Standards related to numbers for kindergarten and 1st grade.

On the Teacher Dashboard, teachers can adjust settings and math difficulty for an individual or group of students, create their own levels, and track student’s data. Tiggly’s Learning Software is interactive with the hands-on manipulatives and adapts to student’s learning pace while providing scaffolding and feedback to help them master the math content.

“Since our first launch of Tiggly in schools, we realized our hands-on manipulatives for tablets addresses an important need in early elementary classrooms: teachers are looking for an effective learning technology that is hands-on and developmentally appropriate for their young students. With Tiggly, they can open up their tablet screens to traditional learning manipulatives, bringing the best of physical and digital learning together for an effective educational experience,” said Dr. Azadeh Jamalian, Chief Learning Officer and Co-Founder of Tiggly.

“However, the need does not stop there. Teachers are looking for effective learning platforms that are aligned with standards, adapts to their students learning, provides data on students learning, and allows for device sharing for classrooms that do not have one-to-one tablet implementation. And these are exactly the type of features we have added in Tiggly Digits + Symbols Math Platform designed specifically for schools.”

Tiggly Digits + Symbols Math Platform includes:
  • Manipulatives: 5 sets of Tiggly Digits (each set containing eleven manipulatives in the form of 0-10) and 5 sets of Tiggly Symbols (each set containing four math symbols + - = >) for a total of 75 hands-on connected manipulatives

  • Student Learning Software: Unlimited licenses to download Tiggly Math DigiSymbols software for iPad (Chromebook compatibility coming soon), which is interactive with the manipulatives

  • Teacher Software: Unlimited, free accounts for Teacher Dashboards accounts on which you can set up profile for each of your students, customize settings for individual students, groups, or the whole classroom, and track students’ progress

  • Comes in efficient storage bins that are modular and stackable- perfect for sharing among classrooms and centers

The platform has been designed in partnership with Dr. Herbert Ginsburg the Jacob H. Schiff Professor of Psychology and Education at Columbia University’s Teachers College. The platform supports Dr. Ginsburg’s educational vision of a strong focus on early math and literacy education. All the activities in the math platform, difficulty levels, learning progression, and standard alignments have been designed in close collaboration with Dr. Ginsburg, and have been revised and updated through weekly playtesting and research sessions with students and teachers. The result is a cutting edge educational technology that is designed ground up based on learning theories, tested with students, and revised based on teachers’ feedback.

Pre-order Tiggly Digits + Symbols Math Platform before June 15th for $399. The price will increase to $450 after the pre-order campaign. You may pay from the date you submit your order to 15 days after its scheduled delivery date in September.
