CoSpaces Edu launches first AR creation feature for schools
On June 24-27 at the ISTE conference, Delightex – the makers of CoSpaces Edu will launcha pioneer AR content creation feature for education, giving students the ability to build their own Augmented Reality experiences for the very first time - an addition to their successful Virtual Reality (VR) creation platform and an unprecedented development in the field of EdTech.

The AR feature will let teachers and students create their own content to be explored in AR, augmenting the reality with the virtual content created in CoSpaces Edu. This new mode will essentially enable turning the real world into a creation stage and adding virtually anything onto it.
Technology Integration Specialist Michael Fricano II says: "I love what AR brings to my classroom! With AR my students are forced to get out of their seats to interact with their physical and virtual worlds!"
Delightex believes that this will bring many new possibilities to the classroom and more engaging ways to learn about various subjects. This will also offer a simpler alternative to VR which requires providing students with VR headsets.
“We see a lot of potential in the developments of Augmented Reality and its application in the classroom. We’re very excited to be able to give kids a first way to experiment with AR content creation today”, says Eugene Belyaev – CEO of Delightex.
CoSpaces Edu has also announced a partnership with MERGE, a provider of award-winning AR and VR tools for the classroom. This collaboration will enable CoSpaces Edu to offer support for the Merge Cube as an additional way to explore content created with the platform.
