Well, it's finally here! The Ohio Educational Technology Conference has begun! All week long we'll be bringing you updates on the latest developments. And, if you're interested in more information, just search #OETC14 on Twitter or head over to their website! Here are the updates from Wednesday! Today’s final #OETC14 keynote was delivered by Alan November who spoke to the crowd of thousands about information and global communication. November is passionate that instead of teaching 1:1, we should be teaching 1:World. Emerging tools and technology provides students with skills of “learning to learn,” rather than the traditional learning “how to be taught.”
StateImpact Ohio hosted an educational tweetup for the #OETCx group. Topics were crowdsourced via Twitter and included themes like sharing recent successes and challenges, and tools to personalize classrooms and learning by thinking outside of the box.
And with that, the Ohio Education Technology Conference has come to a close. But, if you're looking for some absolutely wonderful EdTech ideas and tips, make sure to check out the OETC Twitter feed! Thanks for reading!
