bulb Announces Key Partnerships, Key New Hires

Team and partners expanded to grow and serve education
market for leading digital portfolio software company.

(AUSTIN, TX) October 10, 2017 –  bulb, the emerging leader in digital portfolio software, announces the appointment of industry veterans Aaron Sever as Director of Sales, and Account Executives Janice Bowen, Gwen Cheatham, and Aimee Schroeder. The company is also partnering to support Digital Promise, the bipartisan nonprofit formally launched by President Barack Obama in September 2011 to accelerate innovation in education.

Eric Goldreyer, CEO of bulb said of the new hiring, “Aaron, Janice, Gwen and Aimee bring decades of education experience to these newly created positions overseeing every aspect of deployment into the school district marketplace.” With respect to our new innovation partner, he said,“We are thrilled to partner with Digital Promise to spur innovation in education to improve opportunities to learn.”

Aaron Sever has 17 years of experience in education publishing and technology. At Perfection Learning, he led southern US sales and grew revenue in his region every year. Previously, Aaron helped the Houghton Mifflin Harcourt team exceed quota by gaining over 50% market share in Texas in multiple years. Aaron has a BS from Bowling Green and a MBA from TCU

Janice Bowen has 20+ years of sales experience. She was the No. 1 producer in the nation multiple years at Perfection Learning. Previously, she was the top sales producer for Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, both statewide and nationally. Janice has a BBA in Marketing from the University of Texas.

Gwen Cheatham has 20+ years of sales experience and most recently worked in educational sales for 11 years as an Account Executive with Houghton Mifflin Harcourt. Gwen supported all curriculum and instructional needs for large urban and suburban school districts where she consistently grew market share and exceeded sales 
quota. She has a BA from The University of Texas at Austin.


Aimee Schroeder is an Educational Professional with 20+ years of experience in classroom teaching, educational sales, marketing, and professional development. Aimee has worked core academic subjects and specialty areas including career and technical education. She has a BS and teaching certification from Sam Houston State University.
