CK-12 offers high quality digital lessons and tools that deliver material in response to each student’s performance for adaptive, highly customized learning. With a wide assortment of videos, interactive flashcards, games, simulations and audio, CK-12 ensures each student benefits from instruction aligned to their personal learning needs and individual progress.

All of CK-12’s high quality instructional tools and lessons are free and more than 25,000 U.S. schools in every state are saving thousands of dollars by using CK-12. For example, El Paso Unified School District has saved $200,000 and Anoka-Hennepin Schools has saved $175,000 on textbook costs with CK-12.

Below are details on a few of CK-12’s newest products:

  • Physics Simulations: CK-12’s new module uses real-world interactivity to increase student engagement for the CK-12 STEM platform. The new physics simulations bridge the abstract and real world to help students learn key concepts by relating them to real world examples

  • PLIX: CK-12's latest tool, PLIX (Play, Learn, Interact and eXplore), is intended to offer learners an interactive and immersive user experience where students effectively learn by doing

  • Free New Math and Science Apps for iOS and Android: The adaptive apps for math and science will provide practice problems that adjust to students based on their learning needs. The apps will also track students’ progress and provide detailed reports for parents and teachers via CK-12’s website. CK-12’s new apps will join CK-12’s suite of mobile apps that include a Windows 8 app and a Chrome web app for Chromebooks.

  • BrainFlex: a free online tool aimed at combating summer brain drain. BrainFlex is sending students who sign up one math or science question each day to help them stay on track and prevent the summer slide. Since the questions are online, children can practice anytime, anywhere on the device of their choice.
