(MINNEAPOLIS, MN) April 4, 2017 — myON, the leading provider of personalized literacy solutions for the K-12 marketplace (including the newly launched myON News), today announced Chris Bauleke as its CEO. Bauleke has a long history of helping develop and expand growth-oriented technology companies, and sees great potential in building on the myON vision.

His executive leadership experience growing and scaling software and technology companies from diverse markets will help position myON for the future.

With help from key myON leaders including Todd Brekhus, president of myON, Bauleke is excited to guide myON’s scalability efforts as the now independent company continues its rapid expansion in the pre-K–12 ed tech market. myON will also continue to increase its digital book collection with Capstone content in the core collection, as well as continuing to bring content from add-on collections offered by Candlewick, National Geographic, Sourcebooks, Saddleback, HMH, Little, Brown, and others.

“My first objective as myON’s new CEO will be to build on our vision to help millions of children improve literacy skills,” Bauleke said. “The growth rate achieved by myON in the past couple of years has been impressive, and my interest is to further myON’s commitment to providing innovative literacy solutions, guaranteeing world-class service and support for our customers and solidifying our position as a leader in digital literacy solutions.”

“We’re thrilled that Chris has joined the team,” Brekhus said. “His experience and enthusiasm are a great fit for myON, and we look forward to exciting results and a bright future for myON and our customers.”

Having Bauleke join the myON team creates a winning combination. His experience accelerating growth in a software-as-a-service model, connected with the innovation and vision of myON through the thought leadership of  Brekhus, will guide myON to pursue the goal of personalizing literacy and increasing student achievement for every student throughout the world.
