(Tucson, AZ) February 28, 2019--MindPlay online reading and literacy publisher announced it has been recognized by CIO Review as a 2019 top educational technology solution. The magazine details how MindPlay comes to the aid of students with learning disabilities, such as dyslexia, and educates teachers in  reading and ways to address issues of struggling readers.

In an interview with MindPlay CEO and founder, Judith Bliss, “Redefining Tutoring of Students with Disabilities,” the February 2019 edition of the magazine talks about how MindPlay Virtual Reading Coach (MVRC) leads each student through an individualized lesson program that targets their specific knowledge gaps. These gaps are diagnosed through MindPlay’s Universal Screener, and personalized instruction is supported by a virtual coach who guides each learner through lessons.

The article points out that with around 3,000 U.S. schools partnering with MindPlay today, and many parents employing the online solution for homeschooling, MindPlay has gained “immense popularity,” especially as eight to 10 percent of the school population is now recognized as dyslexic.

Designed to augment classroom instruction, MindPlay also provides comprehensive teacher support through detailed data tracking, automatically generated progress reports that save busy educators valuable time, and two online courses, Understanding Dyslexia, and MindPlay Comprehensive Reading Course, available to both educators and parents.

The CIO Review recognition is the most recent in a range of honors and awards MindPlay has received for its impact on helping learners of all ages achieve success in the areas of reading and literacy. Numerous user testimonials by in-the-field reading experts, administrators and classroom teachers also show how students districtwide are benefitting from the program.
