Budapest, HU: Today, the company behind the successful music video mixtape app Dragontape announces a new version of its video lesson creation platform Metta that makes it radically easier for educators to work with videos. Within minutes, teachers can set up their online courses and start assigning engaging video lessons. Metta lessons are basically remixes made out of online content where quizzes and polls are part of the mix.

The company has attracted tens of thousands of teachers (and their students) since its public launch in the Summer of 2013. About the early positive feedback Metta CEO Tamas Szakal said, “As teaching methods need to keep up with the rapid changes in technology, educators are increasingly looking for ways to work with videos in their classes. It helps them grab their student’s attention and keep them engaged. This is the reason why we’ve integrated Metta with the best digital learning platforms like Edmodo from early on. In the mean time we realized that sooner or later we need our own framework and tools to enable teachers to organize the content, manage their classrooms as well as to monitor progress.”

What users like very much about Metta is that they can work with online videos easily without sending students to YouTube or any other site. Metta’s clean and distractionfree environment keeps them focused and excited at the same time.
