Teachers and students will now be able to share Lifeliqe content directly into the Teams app, greatly enhancing usage in the classroom and making Lifeliqe even more convenient and effective for learning science.
The integration with Teams is yet another example of Lifeliqe’s close relationship with Microsoft education ecosystem. It follows the succesful MR pilot in science classes conducted in 2017 with Microsoft HoloLens on Windows 10 and integration with Powerpoint. The findings of the MR pilot were summarized in a case study and video.
„Microsoft and Lifeliqe share the same passion; to deliver experiences that will help teachers and students harness the potential of interactive learning platforms,” said Lorraine Bardeen, General Manager of Windows Mixed Reality. „At Microsoft we want to help teachers push the boundaries of their curriculum and spark the creativity of their students. A key ingredient in bringing that promise to life is harnessing the potential of mixed reality to make it easier for teachers and students to communicate and collaborate. The work that Lifeliqe is doing to integrate their interactive 3D models with the Microsoft Teams app is the kind of innovation that will make that possible.”
Lifeliqe is showcasing its products at this year’s BETT conference in London. The visitors are welcome to explore Lifeliqe curricula including the Teams integration and the MR app Lifeliqe HoloLens on Windows 10 at booth E300, which is part of Microsoft village. The program at the booth will also include workshops and presentations by teachers from all around the world.
