"Teachers Matter: Empowered Students Come from Empowered Teachers"

SAN JOSE, CALIFORNIA — April 22, 2014 -- Edward M. Fields, Silicon Valley CEO and Ed Tech Innovator, announced his new book today Teachers Matter: Empowered Students Come From Empowered Teachers. Teachers Matter: Empowered Students Come From Empowered Teachers will be available for purchase September 9th, 2014.

 In conjunction with his new book, Teachers Matter : Empowered Students Come From Empowered Teachers, Edward M. Fields has also launched a new "Take the Pledge" campaign which can be found on TeachersMatter.com. By pledging, participants will tell our nations teachers how much they matter.


TeachersMatter.com will keep count of how many participants "Take the Pledge", and when TeachersMatter.com reaches 10,000 pledges, the HotChalk Education Network will donate technology to a Title 1 school. The HotChalk Education Network's Corporate Social Responsibility Program will place the technology in schools from the "Take the Pledge" donation.
