(ALEXANDRIA, VA) March 30, 2018 — GreyED Solutions announced today that it is one of six companies selected by the National School Board Association (NSBA) for its annual Technology Innovation Showcase. Submissions were solicited from numerous start-up companies providing innovative approaches to challenges across the K-12 curriculum, administrative operations, and communication channels.

Reviewers included educators from NSBA’s “20 to Watch,” a recognition program that honors emerging education technology leaders.

“I am pleased GreyEd Solutions joins NSBA’s impressive list of previous Showcase companies,” said Ann Flynn, NSBA’s Director of Education Innovation. “GreyED Solutions and its FilterED product offer a much-needed set of tools for district leaders who want to understand and maximize their investments in technology.”

GreyED’s cloud-based data analysis solution, FilterED, enables districts to better understand their current state of technology and evaluate their return on teaching and learning. The digital tool assesses six critical elements that make up an organization’s edtech ecosystem. FilterED gathers rich, complex data from stakeholders and presents the organizational results using an intuitive, dynamic dashboard. Actionable school level reports empower leadership to confidently make data-driven decisions that will potentially impact student outcomes, professional development, budget, and resources.

FilterED is aligned to multiple, reputable frameworks that districts often adopt when it comes to technology. This correlation ensures that the information gathered provides the alignment of the chosen frameworks driving change in the organization.

“We are deeply grateful to NSBA for choosing us to be a part of this distinguished group,” said Julie Carter, EdD, the co-founder and CEO of GreyED Solutions. “We look forward to sharing FilterED with prominent school board members and educators in San Antonio.”

During the NSBA Annual Conference in San Antonio, which takes place April 7–9, the 2018 class will be featured in an exclusive area of the exhibition and participate in a Tech Innovation Showcase panel on Saturday, April 7, from 10:30 – 11:45 am, in Room 221CD. Later this summer, they will be featured in NSBA’s magazine for school leaders, American School Board Journal, and participate in a webinar hosted by NSBA’s National Connection program.

GreyED Solutions will be exhibiting in the Technology Innovation Showcase Area on Saturday, April 7, from 10:30 am to 4:30 pm; and Sunday April 8, from 11:30 am to 4:00 pm.
