(LONG BEACH, CA) March 30, 2018 – Epson®, the number-one selling projector brand worldwide, today announced its PowerLite® L610U won a TCEA Best of Show Award from Tech & Learningmagazine. The Awards program recognizes the products and services from exhibitors at the TCEA conference that show the greatest promise for educators.

A panel of Tech & Learning advisors reviewed and rated the products at the February conference to determine the winners. The PowerLite L610U delivers incredible value to educators, featuring a virtually maintenance-free operation of up to 20,000 hours1, an integrated laser light source, and 6,000 lumens of color and white brightness2 – in a smaller and lighter design and at an affordable price point. The laser light source’s Instant ON power helps teachers achieve maximum brightness within seconds.

“Epson’s new PowerLite L610U answers a need for laser solutions in the mid-lumen range and delivers all the benefits of laser technology in a lighter, smaller design chassis at an affordable price point for classrooms or meeting rooms,” said Remi Del Mar, senior product manager, Epson America, Inc. “Receiving a TCEA Best of Show Award from Tech & Learning recognizes Epson’s commitment to offer professional display solutions that provide uncompromising image quality, high color brightness with incredible detail, and reliable performance – all backed by Epson’s first-in-class warranty and service.”

The PowerLite L610U offers WUXGA resolution for exceptional images. It is also equipped with an array of connectivity options, 360-degree flexibility, HDBaseT, and manual lens shift to make installation easy. Enterprise level wireless technology enables it to connect with multiple devices easily. Users can also mirror their screen wirelessly from a smartphone or streaming device with Miracast® or they can use Epson iProjection™3 to easily moderate classrooms.

As a leader in innovation and partnership, Epson also offers the Brighter Futures® program, a unique sales and support initiative available specifically for schools. Designed to help educators select and implement the best products for their classrooms while making the most of their budgets, Brighter Futures offers special pricing, extended Epson limited warranty coverage for a total of three years, dedicated education account managers, and toll-free technical support for all Epson projectors and associated accessories.
