October 12, 2017, Camden, NJ – Catapult Learning, a leading provider of special and alternative education, intervention programs, and professional development solutions that generate academic gains and better life outcomes for students, today announced it was granted Education Service Agency Accreditation by AdvancED, a global leader in advancing excellence in education through continuous improvement and accreditation.

AdvancED is a national nonprofit, nonpartisan organization that conducts rigorous, on-site external reviews of pre-K-12 schools and school systems to ensure that all learners realize their full potential. As part of the accreditation process, Catapult engaged in internal and external quality-assurance reviews, relying on its well-established commitment to continuous improvement to meet AdvancED’s high-quality standards.

“As part of our Continuous Improvement plan, Catapult continues to focus on academic data collection and reporting to allow stakeholders to make well-informed decisions and conclusions about our impact on student learning,” said Andrea Vargas, president of Catapult Learning’s Schools Division. “We’re also advancing our mobile connectivity opportunities to collect and report feedback from parents and students, while expanding comprehensive professional development opportunities for teachers.”

“Achieving national accreditation through AdvancED further demonstrates our commitment to provide services and solutions that exceed the most rigorous standards of educational excellence,” said Jeffrey Cohen, CEO of Catapult Learning. “It also validates the work of our faculty and staff who work tirelessly to do what’s best for students.”

AdvancED Accreditation is a voluntary method of quality assurance and is used to demonstrate educational quality by education providers of all types, from traditional schools to distance learning providers to tutoring centers serving all ages of students from toddlers to adults.
