(Redmond, WA) June 19, 2017 –– Bloomz, a leader in the parent-teacher communication space, has partnered with the Arizona Technology in Education Association (AZTEA) to cultivate the connective and collaborative power of educational technology for educators and parents. As part of the partnership announced today, Bloomz will invite its Arizona users to join the AZTEA, and will create a forum on the Bloomz app that promotes AZTEA’s mission to connect educators in order to leverage their collective knowledge and expertise.  Bloomz will also recognize Arizona teachers for their excellence in stimulating parental engagement through the use of Bloomz.

“Our team is thrilled to be collaborating with AZTEA as we strive to increase parent-teacher connectedness in Arizona,” said Chaks Appalabattula, the CEO of Bloomz. “Through this partnership, educators will be encouraged to join organizations and forums to exchange ideas, techniques, and materials. They will also be encouraged to join the more than 14,000 schools nationwide who have revolutionized parent-teacher communication through the Bloomz app.”

AZTEA will promote Bloomz to its members throughout the 2017–2018 school year as the parent-teacher communication app of choice. Members who adopt Bloomz will have the opportunity to share their experiences with the app at the AZTEA conference in the fall.

“AZTEA and Bloomz share a commitment to improve instruction through the opportunities provided by well-positioned educational technology,” said Cathy Poplin, Executive Director of AZTEA. “By connecting parents to teachers, and connecting teachers to essential organizations and resources, we are creating a community in which all parties are equipped to empower learners with the skills they will need for living and working in the 21st century.”
