(ATLANTA, Georgia) January 23, 2018 –– Follett, the largest provider of educational materials and technology solutions to pre-K–12 schools, is a reseller of Alive Studios's engaging products for early reading and math. Today, Follett and Alive Studios announce the #StrivingReaders Giveaway, offering educators around the country the opportunity to win the latest and greatest from Alive Studios.

This augmented reality software has a powerful effect on young leaners, and the partners are excited to support educators in their efforts to help striving readers succeed.

The grand prize is a complete Learning alive Plus™ Suite on a Sprout Pro by HP. The package includes the Letters alive® Plus program for early literacy; Math alive® to aid young learners in their first math lessons; three Interactive Stories designed to increase proficiency in math, spelling, reading, and writing; and the Sprout Pro G2 designed by HP, a multi-touch, high-definition workstation designed for the ultimate AR experience. The total value of the prize, which also includes a one-hour online training session, is $5,000.

Alive Studios will provide the second-prize winner’s classroom with a My Letters alive Journal Classroom 20-pack. This is the most recent product from the innovative ed tech company, designed to make their augmented reality lessons even more accessible. Each journal works with a free app that can be downloaded on any smartphone or tablet. The journals help children master the 26 letters of the alphabet, while the app demonstrates what they’re learning and increases student engagement with vivid augmented-reality animals that literally leap off the page.

“We are excited to do this contest with Follett and wanted to go all-in,” said Cynthia Kaye, the Founder, CEO, and Chief Zookeeper at Alive Studios. “These two prizes will make any student between the ages of 3 and 8—including ELLs and at-risk or special needs students—wild about learning! Whether you’ve used augmented reality in the classroom before or not, the Learning alive Plus™ Suite and the My Letters alive Journal are a breeze to set up and get students engaged right away!”

The deadline to enter the #StrivingReaders Giveaway with Alive Studios is February 9, 2018. Interested educators can visit the contest page to fill out an entry form.
