 The development team at Common Extract has just released a new app geared towards pre-k students, "ABC for Little Space Explorer." It is designed to help students learn the alphabet in a fun, interactive, space-themed environment. The app costs $1.99 and is available in the iOS store.  If you've spent any time looking for educational apps on the iPad, you've probably noticed that there are a TON of options. Fortunately, there's an awesome new service that helps parents and educators find the best apps for their kids. AppoLearning is a free website and iOS app that tests and reviews educational apps, and they do a great job of it.
 SmartBinder from Alchemy is a free tool that allows teachers to build cloud-based binders full of digital lesson content. Teachers can create lessons with files, images, videos, and web content, send those lessons out to students, and receive feedback in real time on how students are doing. It's a great resource, so, let's check it out!
 Sparticl is a new, free service that has rounded-up and organized all of the best science content on the web. You can search by subject or content-type (i.e. game, video, article, etc.) and it's an absolutely wonderful site. They have content for every area of science and they're expanding their offerings every day. Let's check it out!

If not, it's a wonderful new tool that allows teachers to make videos more interactive by adding questions, polls, discussions, and more to YouTube, Vimeo, and uploaded videos. It's an excellent resource and it is now available completely free for basic users!
