Remind is a service that many of you might already be familiar with. They offer a free, safe method for teachers to easily text students and parents. Remind has been around for a while, but they've just recently announced their new chat feature, which will allow for two-way communication between teachers, students, and parents. Skyscrapers is a new iOS app in the Explorer’s Library series from Tinybop. The app costs $2.99 and is meant for students in kindergarten through 5th grade. The app is aligned with the NGSS science standards and is meant to allow students to explore the experience of building a skyscraper. It’s not only a fun app, but it also allows for a lot of educational opportunities, let’s check it out!
Kiddom is a free tool for teachers and students that is designed for classrooms using standards-based grading. Teachers can create assignments and track performance related to specific standards (CCSS, SEL, State, or customized), and students can gain a better understanding of their own achievement levels. It’s a great resource, particularly for any classroom that needs to align assignments with specific standards.
