Reviews | ClassHub: Manage and Monitor Student Devices

ClassHub is a new application from the folks at Squirrels.  If you’re familiar with their product Reflector, ClassHub has some overlap, but takes things to a whole new level in terms of student device management.  Overall, ClassHub is a classroom device management application that allows teachers to see student screens, push content and messages to students, lock student devices into specific apps, and initiate screen sharing.

If you’re in a 1:1 situation, working with carts or computer labs, or in a BYOD environment, it’s an excellent resource.  Read the complete review on our Review's Page.

Thanks for sharing, this is exactly what my district needs. We are 1 to 1 with Chromebooks and it is impossible to manage 30+ student screens every period. I hope this is something we are able to purchase!

Thanks for reading Laura and I hope it works for you! For Chromebooks you might also check out GoGuardian, as they might be a good fit as well!

Class hub is a rip off... my sixth graders bypassed the whole system within 20 seconds. They can exit out of their locked screens and uninstall the app needed for their chrome books

Thanks for the feedback Erin, that's helpful to know! It might also be helpful to know what their settings/privileges are on their Chromebooks, I know for some schools where students have full privileges, none of these types of apps are really beneficial since students can always just uninstall them, like you pointed out.
