the global community by sharing writing, videos, artwork, and ideas

(Mankato, MN) September 20, 2016 – It's a new school year, and educators are building a whole new community with their students. Cantata Learning, an educational publisher of pre-K–3 curriculum content and music, is proud to announce its 2016 Global Harmony Project, “Give a Shout Out to Your Community.”
 
Harmony Projects, inspired by Cantata Learning books and songs, let students showcase their creativity in a variety of ways, including writing stories and poems or creating videos, recipes, artwork, and more. Students learn to connect with the global community by exhibiting creativity and collaboration, while also gaining hands-on learning experience.

For the next two weeks, the excellent standards-based assessment application Kiddom will be our featured review.  Kiddom is designed to help teachers personalize and curate learning content for students while providing detailed analytics and reporting on student progress all of which can be aligned to your school’s standards. Istation Assessments Predict Achievement Levels on Georgia Milestones Assessment

A new research study from Southern Methodist University shows a strong correlation between Istation’s reading assessment scores and Georgia Milestones’ English Language achievement levels.

DALLAS — September 12, 2016 — Istation, a leading provider of e-learning solutions, reports a study linking student results on Istation assessments with achievement levels on the Georgia Milestones Assessment in English Language Arts for Levels 3 and 4. The research, conducted by Southern Methodist University, compared Istation ISIPTM data and Georgia Milestones Assessment scores in the state of Georgia during the 2015-2016 school year.

​Reading test data was used from grades 3 through 6. The study found very strong correlations between ISIP and Georgia Milestones English language test scores across grade levels.
