75 public libraries selected as NASA@ My Library partners

New EdTech Resource | Students Work to Create Bilingual Comic Book to Teach "Hard Empathy" Skills

Students from Notre Dame High School (San Jose, CA) created "Towards the Same Dream,” (Por el mismo sueño) a bilingual book about day workers that includes personal narratives and superhero comic strips. “Towards the Same Dream” was created through visiting the Day Worker Center in Mountain View (Mountain View, CA) and interviewing day workers in English and Spanish.

​The ultimate goal of the project is to bridge cultural divides and to educate the community about the lives, struggles, and joys of the day worker community.
